My knee is better this morning. Still red, but not as swollen as it was. Neosporin is awesome. :) If it doesn't rain, and Jules seems up to it, I might try to get a mile in today.

Went up 1.5lbs but I doubt its from the candy over the weekend. lol. My wedding band is fitting, so definately retaining some water today. Makes me sad knowing that the darn scale isn't going to be budging for awhile. Just part of life though. I'll keep rockin my eatting habits and exercise knowing that the water weight will drop at some point. :)

Now for cofee and breakfast, and calling Jules' pedi. :)

Glad the knee is better. I never go anywhere without Neosporin. I live with cats. LOL. You're right. The fat cells can only hold onto the water for so long trying to maintain their shape, and then they'll let go. Keep at it.

Will do Johanne. :) Neosporin is awesome. Jules needs it a fair bit for her bumps and scratches. The first 2 weeks of a month I usually retain fluid because of my period. And since I have an IUD, the water retention seems worse than it did prior to having a baby. Last month I dropped 5 pounds in 2 days after my 'period' ended. Hoping I see some similar results this month.

What did you do to your knee???

Thanks Coach. @Babs, I fell off the bottom step at my mom's on Halloween and landed on som big cement pavers. I scraped and bruised the side of my right knee and banged my shin. The bruise on my knee is about the side of a softball, and the one on my shin is about the size of a tennis ball. It's also been swelling some, but I'm taking ibprofen for it. I ended up not going walking today. Between Jules' doctor appt, Jules nap, the grocery store, chores, and cooking I just couldn't fit it in. :/ At least dinner was tastey. Ground Turkey, Sauteed baby carrots, carmelized onions over rice. :) Soooo yummy!

Holy crapola!! Take it easy and let that heal, just do some light weights for the upper body and lay of the walking for a couple of days. Hope Jules is feeling better too.

Eh, it's better everyday. And if I hurt, I will stop and take a break. ^.^ Also no walking today since it's rainy and positively dreary outside. Also seemed to have dropped a bit of water weight today. Started the morning out at 287, and now I weight 285. :/ After breakfast, lunch, 2 snacks, water and tea. Goes without saying that I've had alot of bathroom breaks. lol.

Oh ugh! Water weight from the monthly visitor is the worst! I worked for a doctor years ago and he said that one of the reason's women get bitchy before their periods is the water retention actually causes pressure on the brain causing moodiness. Not trying to give an excuse for women but I remember times when I would bitch when I was trying so hard not too. I felt like I was possessed or something. LOL I know you're doing it.... keep up the H2O! It helps to flush out the cells. Sounds crazy to drink water to get rid of water, but that's how it works. Hope your knee heals quickly. Keep it up Jada! You're doing an amazing bang-up job!! Slow and steady. Steady and slow. That's the way Goofy goes. LMBO.... a quote from a Disney book I read to my grandson. :o)

Thank you Thyme, you really made me smile. :) I seem to be fluctuating today though, which is a big surprize. :/ So werid. Must be the tea and water that I drink. I'm usually pretty good about mood swings too. ^.^ Though I do get irrated more easily, so I have to watch myself.
