I have found a couple of things that work for constipation. Magnesium can work quite well...you just have to take it in the evening or before bed. If you take it in the morning it just doesn't work. I have also used Miralax. It can be a little pricey compared to other laxatives but it works much better. It works more natually by bringing water into the colon and it doesn't cause you to have to "run," if you know what I mean. :) Hope one of these work for you. Also make sure that you drink lots of water!
