Doing well. Serious changes happening in my life. I've been alone for YEARS and there's a way to put an end to it and I'm going to put myself out there to date. I can't live like a monk for the rest of my life trying to impress anyone and be unhappy in the process. My computer got fixed. I'll be buying a new monitor to upgrade to a Vista as soon as I can afford it as I already have the rest of the computer. My BIL said that will - for at least a time - keep out most problems. I had no virus or spyware protection at all on my computer so that's why it went down. It's protected now. Diet going well, no fast last weekend.I may try tomorrow - though I have an appointment in the afternoon. Went for a mile long walk today - it was mild here but rainy. Used stereo that was given to me this week in my bedroom now, but it sounds awesome. It was given to me by my dad. Gym membership is so expensive it may be after tax rebate. Got a slip cover for couch yesterday - its nice - needed it. It was over $60. Everything is so expensive when one is on a budget and is trying to fix their place up. I'm getting a vacuum next week as I need a decent one. Glad to be back on. I stopped eating food after 8p.m. each night and sleep better. The peanuts and almonds may have caused a slight weight gain as I've eaten lots the past week or two. But induction will start once they're gone!! For certain... glenn :)

It's great you're fixing up your apartment. We have friends who totally remodled their house when they moved in, but then stressed about it the whole time and overextended themselves financially. We moved into our house almost a year ago and we're doing a little at a time. I think it is more fun that way. I get to celebrate every little improvement when I can afford it. :) "Enjoy the process", right? It's great that you're fixing your computer issues too. It's great to have family who does that sort of thing. My husband is a computer wiz and I am SO glad! LOL. I can troubleshoot basic things, but he is the master. Just keep focused on your goals and you'll get there a little at a time.

I love working on my home. I agree that its more fun to do a little at a time. And I paint!!! That is my main redecorating weapon!!! At my old apartment the landlord let me paint - I painted the old 60's style cupboards red and got new countertop for less than $100 and I had a first class kitchen. Everyone that came to my house was amazed. It was fun!! Enjoy it!!
