Well at least I'm maintaining my weight and not gaining the OBGYN told me that I shouldn't be worried about losing right now with trying to quit smoking and heal... it'd still be nice to lose since I'm eating relatively well still drinking too many shakes and too much sugar free candy but hey at least my comfort food is sugar free...
252.0 lb Lost so far: 65.0 lb.    Still to go: 52.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

one step at a time. and its great you not gaining. I'd actually think f steady weight as a loss, before giving up cigs, health not being the best would have been an excuse for comfort, which you are not doing, So you are taking control, Best wishes

You are really doing excellent. My mother died from emphasyma. She tried to quit many times. I stopped smoking 11 years ago. I gained over 163 pounds before I did anything. You are so smart to be on Atkins.

Myree, the quitting smoking is a must, you can do it. Probably the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. I am one year cig free and gained about 15 lbs when I quit before deciding to get on FS and get the weight issue tackled as well. You will get thru this however works for you, I have faith and will pray for your health and strength!
