Okay, I battled Chocolate all week long, dealt with my monthly visitor and depression and I still lost 1.7 pounds. I am very proud of that considering I expected the scales to go up or even remain at the same number with the water retention going on and all.

Yesterday I got a call from "The Rush", which is a health club. Apparently I won a free one months membership for myself and my family....I told the guy I don't go anywhere without my 3 and almost 5 year old.....and he says to me, no worries, your membership will cover free care for them as well! So I was excited and set up an appointment for this morning. I get there and he says to me "just because you told me about the kids doesn't mean I knew you were going to bring them." ...What a fooken idiot. He said they were covered yesterday and now this morning he wants me to pay for a membership. Bump him. I almost joined anyway...just for myself and let dad stay home with the kids when I workout BUT I decided my principles were more important and I would not be a member of any club that would talk down to me or make me feel inferior or dumb. So the Rush is out. I will look into another option but just not today. I am depressed and hate to admit it. It seems like nothing goes right in my life anymore. I am tired of being let down and disappointed by others. I know I should only worry about what I do or say but it does bother me.

Anyways, got to get to cleaning the house. Made myself a yummy egg sandwich for breakfast....I love eggs! They are so yummy and so full of good stuff! I just have a problem with sticking to one egg hahahaha!

Yeah, I know what you mean. I hate most "gym-people", not only because they look fit and make you feel like you are never going to be as fit as them, but because they treat you as if you are inferior to them and will always be. But what would anger me more in your situation, is the trick with the free membership that isn't free. I think thats a mean trick and should be illegal. What a waste of time and energy even going there. If you find another person who had the same experience, you could tell the story to your local newspaper and blast them... (yes, sometimes I get very vengeful. lol)

Congrats on the weightloss!! :D That's really Awesome! I'd say screw that gym too. Then I also would have covered my little girls ears and said some very ugly things to that guy. :) I liked the gym I went to last month, but didn't see an reason to re-new my membership since I've been going to the park so much in the pretty weather. ^.^ Maybe next month I'll re-new the membership, we'll see how well walking at the park and home dvds go for me.

That was a trick to get you to join. A free membership is a free membership and that one WASN'T. I would join ANY gym other than that one. Go you on the weight loss!

MA.... I am so with you on the "principles" I would have told him to stick it too! You have to start moving and working out some how. If a gym membership will motivate you.... please do it! Put your money somewhere you're going to feel welcome, that they are happy to help you, have a personal trainer to help you learn the technique and proper way to work the muscles and is going to meet your needs. Not some lame-ass club that gets you there with a leader ad and then spoofs you! And most gyms have daycare available too. (some free some for small $) CONGRATS on the weight loss!! So happy for you!!! Please shake off the depression. I don't want to be a nagging bitch, but Water, Sunshine & Move your butt!! (((HUGZ)))
