I am having a difficult few days. AI have not cheated nor changed my eating habits and have followed my diet to the letter. I have only been on it a week and dont understand why for the last 2 days I have stayed at the same weight. Im alittle discouraged. Although today I start my weight lose challengge so I hope something good comes out of this!
150.0 lb Lost so far: 7.0 lb.    Still to go: 25.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Diet Calendar Entry for 21 January 2013:
1895 kcal Fat: 145.68g | Prot: 105.83g | Carb: 49.77g.   Breakfast: adkins tex mex, non dairy creamer, coffee. Lunch: chicken, celery, avocado, bacon ranch dressing, lettuce. Dinner: cream cheese, eggs, hormel sliced pepperoni. Snacks/Other: adkins carmel double crumch bar, swiss cheese, almonds. more...

You have lost 6 or 7 pounds in 5 days and your discouraged!!!! You need to have realistic weight loss expectations. For someone who has so little to lose, that is a huge loss. Your body is changing and adjusting to a new diet, and no one loses every day. The first week is mostly water and after that a pound or two a week is the norm for most people (unless you have a huge amount to lose). It's normal for your body to stay the same for a few days or longer during weight loss. It's normal to see gains sometimes (even when you do every right). Google "why the scale lies" for insight in to water weight fluctuations. Now be proud of that weight loss. I would be shouting it from the roof tops. You lose 7 pounds!!!! Whooo! Hoooo!

It takes a while for the diet to kick in, it's not instant. Take in small accomplishments such as eating yogurt instead of ice cream, or how much more energetic you body feels or how it will feel. You will lose weight if you just keep working at it, so don't give up!:)
