Another gorgeous sunny day with blue skies. It was a bit warmer, so the dogs were only along for 1.8 miles today. For the first day of Week 2 of the 100-mile challenge, I'll complete 4.6 miles....3.6 this AM and the additional mile later this afternoon.

I'm homebound today, as I'm waiting on UPS to pick up some gears my DH is sending back for a switchout. DH has everything ready, but it's a REALLY HEAVY box that requires a dolly....which DH has also rigged up. It should be just fine, but if the UPS guy has any problems, unfortunately, they'll fall on me and I had nothing to do with this whole thing! LOL!!!

So while I'm stuck here today, I've got the oven cleaning itself and I'll be working on the lime green bedroom that I should have been done with long ago. Oh well. Focus on progress, right???

Feeling much happier now that the scale has put me back into my maintenance range again - FINALLY!

At least you and the scale are friends again. Good luck with your delivery. I had a similar situation yesterday at work - they sent this tiny little woman to deliver our jackhammer. Together we managed to get it off her truck.

Hey, glad you are back in the maintenance range...so jealous I am, I Am, I AM!!! But totally happy you & your scale are on better terms. Mine can't decide what to do, so it didn't do anything, which I was relieved there wasn't a gain...whew!! I am so proud of you for putting forth the extra effort & TIME it takes to get your miles up there....you are a lean & (not so mean) walking Machine! I tried pushing for it last weekend & ended up with a still sore calf muscle...so, after much thought, I have left both those mileage challenges. I need to stay healthy in that respect so I can work & so I can run comfortably in the time I have!

Buffy, sometimes delivery services have no clue! Glad your company got its jackhammer and that neither you nor the delivery gal got hurt in the process! Good luck with OWW this weekend....is that it's acronym?...OWW!!!! LOL!!

Krista, isn't it amazing how our lives revolve around the "magic" number that comes up on the scale every morning? It certainly has the ability to affect my mood too.

GG, you will get there, I've no doubt....BOTH you and Buffy! Sounds like a reasonable decision to pull out of the challenges before any body part gets truly pulled!!! You're right about the TIME factor....geez....now I'm reminded why I stopped upping my mileage once I hit around 3 miles....it just takes so much TIME! It's going better though, now that I'm splitting my mileage to do part in the AM and part in the PM. That time in the PM is time I'd normally waste on unproductive stuff anyway, so it's not so bad to go out and do a quick mile. Hope you're surviving the rainy weekend....you can do it!!!!
