I haven't been doing anything to get myself on track. I'm frustrated with myself, but the other day I finally had my breakthrough breaking point. It wasn't any particular one thing. It is all the things. Being tired, out of breath, and the creeping increase of depression. I finally said enough is enough. I know how to help my body I just need to friggin do it. The mental hurdle is always the hardest though. I hope I've jumped that hurdle and have myself on the path to move forward & win the race.

I have the same problem with getting the motivation and mentally preparing but don't give up. A word of advise, this is what is helping me, it won't matter tomorrow what I ate today so look for the future instead of being stuck in the moment. Have you asked your DR. for help. I took a pill called Adipex and that helped a lot because it helped with hunger and energy. They will only give that to you for a few months so now I am on contrave and that helps stop my cravings so I don't think about food nearly as bad and I don't go on eating binges anymore

I know what you mean about the mental hurdles. My getting this app was when I finally got off the fence and started doing something about my weight again. This time I am going all the way with it! I have a reason outside of myself to make it work.

Read several stories about people who do keto for awhile, and then try carnivore find the mental environment improve fantastically. Currently try this out for myself, by doing mostly carnivore, with some plant foods here and there to see what effect they have on my mood.

I agree.. that mental hurdle IS always the hardest. Don't get frustrated, just stick with it and don't give up. You can do it! I wish you the best. This is my first day of wanting to shed a few pounds... I just hope to see some improvement.
