While I know that my weight loss is not quick and swift, I am proud to have hit my first goal for myself. It has been quite some time since I have been below 250 lbs. I am doing this journey at my pace this time. I am adding exercise slow and not restricting myself to the degree that I quit. I still have 100 lbs to go, but my next goal (a personal one) is to get below 243 lbs. So here is to losing the next 7-8 lbs and hitting that goal. Then 225 lbs, 200lbs, 175 lbs, and hopefully some day 150 lbs. I hope that each of you continue to find your personal goals met!
249.4 lb Lost so far: 23.6 lb.    Still to go: 99.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

You’ve lost 23lbs so far that’s something to be extremely proud of so congratulations! 😊 I am so glad to see that you are taking this journey at your own pace that way like you said you won’t quit, it may seem slow to you but it’s actually quite impressive I hope you’re as proud of your accomplishments thus far as some of us here on FS are of you, best of luck! ⭐️

Love hearing your approach to this. Read between the lines that this is one who is set to enjoy a lifetime of great health. On my journey I did notice that unlearning unsuitable and false information was a great part of the challenge. Took me some time to break that down, to allow new knowlege to become part of my everyday life.
