Consuming under the RDI is great! So is burning more than you consume. But to get a jump start on loosing weight, you're gonna need to burn more calories. I find circuit training to be the best kind of work out for me, and it's easier to fit into my day (20-30 minutes of nonstop strength training mixed with cardio), 3 to 5 days a week. You could also alternate days of strength training (push ups, crunches, bicep curls, whatever) with days of cardio (walking, biking, dancing, jumping jacks, etc). Also, keep aware of WHAT you are eating, not just how much calories. You wanna get a good balance of carbs, fat, and protein. I aim for 55% carbs (incuding fiber, less simple sugars), 30% fat (try to keep saturated and trans fat to a minimum), and 15% protein. However, something different might work for you. Eat lots of fruits in vegetables, minimize processed food/soda/sweets, and drink lots of water! I'm by no means an expert, this is just what has worked for me before. I hope that helps =)

Well you don't have much to lose, so it can be harder and take longer to get off. You may need to get strict with your diet. Make sure your tracking every bite, lick and taste. They add up quick and can derail your diet. Focus on lean protein, lean dairy, fruits and veggies. You might also try eating 1300 a day for a week and see what happens. Watch out for too many processed foods because they contain tons of sodium. Drink your water to flush out sodium. Be active! A combination of cardio and strength training can really help get you in shape. If your really burning more than your eating, you should see a loss on the scale or n your clothes. The only way to truly tell what your burning is by wearing a heart monitor. Calculators on line should be used as a guideline to help guide you in weight loss but may not be super accurate.
