Another bump in the road. My schedule has been crazy lately and I haven't been prepared. I've been eating things I shouldn't and it shows in my weigh in. I haven't been able to visit this site and keep up with the challenge I'm participating in.

A change in schedule has also really messed up my exercise routine. I definately had a "routine" and now I don't. As a result, I 've exercised about three times per week for the last two weeks.

I am working to get back on task. I must work harder to get my exercise a daily routine! I WILL WORK HARDER TO MAKE EXERCISE A DAILY ROUTINE!!!

185.0 lb Lost so far: 23.0 lb.    Still to go: 10.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 1.5 lb a week

No worries. You stopped by here for a tire change and now you are ready to burn some more rubber! Maybe work on making your goals more present in your mind even when things are thrown off schedule. Post messages and pictures in your kitchen as reminders of what you are trying to achieve. Keep track of exercise on a calendar where you can see it on a daily basis to motivate you to fill in more of those squares. Eventually the exercise will become something you give up other stuff to make time for! You can do it! Pedal to the metal! GO RED GO!

Hey we all hit little bumps in the road from time to time, so don't worry. What's important is that you're still committed and that you are, I know! Some great tips from Evelyn there. I know that I've certainly found it helpful to keep track of all the exercise that I've been doing. I've been recording here and also in a little application called Zelky Workout Tracker at Facebook... so if you use that at all, you might find helpful. I know finding time for exercise can be a problem, but as Evelyn said eventually it will be something you will give up other things for. I used to come home from work at 3.30pm and be straight on my computer... but the last few weeks I've been getting into the habit of coming home and changing into my gym gear... lol ready for action! So if you try and dedicate just a little part of your day that fits around everything else you need to do, even if you can't do it everyday. Remember 3 times a week is better than none. You've done absolutely great so far, so just do as much as you can and you'll keep going fine. Keep up the great work... last week of the challenge :o( ... let's burn baby burn! ;o)

a change of schedule can throw anyone off track. You've got some good advice and I'll just add a little more :) Trying doing exercizes while your waiting for the microwave or the pot to boil (do some sink or wall push-ups, or hang onton the counter while doing backward lunges), while watching tv get on the floor and do leg lifts, during commercials do sit-ups or lunges, or just get up every commerical and do the knee to opposite elbow touch thingie. that one gets your heart rate up fast. I hope things settle in for you and you will get re-adjusted to the new schedule. One more week of the challenge, you CAN do it!

It's not a disaster - you'll get on track once you adjust to your new schedule. Don't beat yourself up if you can't manage to exercise every day - three times a week is great, much better than a lot of people! Good luck this week. :)
