I am going to try to go all next week without eating sugar free candy. It is really effing me up. I have been eating way too much of it this past month, ever since I quit smoking. It's been like a crutch. It's stopping me from losing weight - I have only lost about 5 pounds in 5 weeks, which could be a plateau, but I am also not adhering to my 1300 calories a day. I went back to the gym today and a coworker was there - I don't care too much for her so it was kind of a distraction. I did the elliptical trainer and I ran half a mile and walked the rest of the 30 minutes. It felt good to get back to running again but I feel guilty that I'm only doing a half mile. That's when my ankles and feet are starting to hurt. I am going to try to get back up to 3/4 of a mile again this week.
