Gaining one pound of muscle will help you burn an additional 50 to 70 calories per day. If you gain 10 pounds of muscle, then you will burn an additional 500 to 700 calories per day. Therefore, gaining muscle is one of the best things that you can do if you want to burn fat.

Sad how so many people just don’t get this concept. They will willingly half starve themselves to loose a few calories but won’t take a walk with their dog or their kids.
