I’m on a low carb diet, can I eat chocolate cake??? I’ve been craving cakes, chocolates, donuts 🎂🍰🍪🍩🍫so much ... it’s not even funny

As long as your total weekly calories add up to a caloric deficit, no matter how you rearrange your foods in your daily diet, you can eat whatever you like. So example, let’s say you want a cake (or whatever treat/food) and it’s 600 calories. Let’s say you need to have 1300 (or whatever number) in daily calories, which for 7 days equals=9100 calories. So all you would do, is either take 1300-600= 700, so you’d have 600cals of cake plus 700cals of whatever for one day, and 1300 the other days. Or if you wanted to eat more, let’s say 1000 calories. You’d do 1000 divided by 6=166 (or by whatever amount of days) so you can have 1300+1000= 2300 on one day, and subtract 166 from 1300 the rest of the 6 days, so you’d get 2300 on 1 day, and 1134 the other 6 days, also equaling=9100 👍🏻

Deadpool, calorie deficit doesn’t work to lose fat. Steve also times, I fasted for 7 days. I’m sposed to have 3500 calendar a day. With your assumptions, I shoulda lost weight, eh? 2 lbs. list...gained them back on my 1600 cal days. This game is much more complex with hormones and gut bacteria and oxygen and liver function. Many many variables twisting and turning. Longevity and perseverance and nutrition and oxygenation and muscle burn.

JulzRulz A calorie deficit is the only thing that causes fat to be lost. Now are there many other major and minor bodily functions that contribute to that? Yes of course, as you mentioned a few, and in my previous posts I’ve mentioned others. Just as a surplus of calories causes weight to be gained. If I was not in a deficit of calories weekly, then all this food I eat would just be contributing to weight gain regardless of how low/high calories I ate.

I have yet to play Overwatch, but the characters & gameplay I’ve seen are cool. My fave KI chars are definitely Fulgore & Riptor. Can’t go wrong with genetically modified dinosaurs 🦖

Do you think that putting pics of chocolate cake is helping others lose weight? You have every right to use this site to document your progress and give advice as needed, but some of your pics could cause others to stumble! Please be kind!

I love the pics! For somebody who is simply counting calories all these food would be acceptable. DeadPool seems to do quite well on his diet and his pics prove that he can eat these and keep the weight he wants. I have other goals, and so, these aren't on my list of foods that I eat, but cause me to stumble? No.

My pictures of food cause people to stumble? Gee I didn’t know I had that power. That’s their choice if they stumble or not, im not forcing anyone to do/eat anything be/act any way. So if you go off your diet for X reason, well that’s simply on you. Also, Not kind?? I’m always kind to others on here, Ive offered plenty of advice on my posts to help others, I’ve helped people directly from here, I’ve trained numerous people outside the scopes of this site to reach their fitness goals & otherwise, many of them being able to enjoy many of the same foods such as ones I post, and by pointing these photos I’m not doing it to “spite” anyone or their progress. Maybe when I see a salad picture it’s not kind to me *sarcasm*... I’m showing people that they don’t have to sacrifice foods they enjoy to reach their goals. So simply by saying I am “not being kind” well, that’s offensive and is not a kind thing for you to say. 😉
