Just had dinner.... bun-less bacon cheeseburger with lettuce and a tomato slice.

I also had a side of steamed broccoli.

Here is my question, why do I still feel hungry?

What do you use, on a low carb diet, to make yourself feel like you are sated?

I use protein, even though my doc is trying to get me to eat more fat.

I use to feel hungry, now I eat more protein and good fats, I'm not hungry or having craving anymore.

Butter and bacon crumbles or shredded cheese on the broccoli would help.

I ended up eating a second serving of bacon. That took the edge off of my hunger.

Eat pickles. The yummy salty dill is a great appetite curb

Sorry LeAnn, I hate dill pickles. Couldn't even eat them when I was pregnant with my kid.

I had the same on Atkins, which is mostly low protein. On Keto, which is Low Carb, High Fat it's a different story. Fat satiates. Try a couple of olives, or a few almonds. Pork rinds with salsa. And I found these amazing crackers made of Parmesan cheese!
