Not sure how you’re eating. I know it’s not Keto lol. If ya rule out protein that leaves fat & carbs.
Fruits....Veggies are great, but for higher calorie veggies you’d need to add fat. Root veggies have higher calories.
Hit the starches. Potatoes, pasta, rice, wheat items. What kind of diet do you currently eat dear?

Are your kidneys really that bad? I do about 75 grams per day... but I'm on a VLC... so that 75 grams is half my calories... As far as kidney issues, not sure how much you're eating but as long as you aren't gorging yourself you should be fine at 40% protein and under. My brother has to be really careful... he can't eat any high protein stuff... most meats give him instant gout

My mother in law has issues with her kidneys. I've been using Arbonne for the last few months and it focuses on detoxing the kidneys, liver, etc. I bought my mother in law what she needed to detox and not only has she lost 16 pounds in 12 days, but she feels better than she's felt in 20 years. She hasn't had any problems with her kidneys this past month. I think her system was just really toxic and her kidneys paid the price.
