Boys are dumb.
Men are great. Guys are iffy - they have their moments. That being said. Thank god I seem to have stopped responding to my frustrations with boys by eating more. I feel more in control of my intake - though celebrating still seems to mean more calories, but it's all a process, right? My next reward for doing a good job is an iTunes gift card. Which is good - I'm starting to lose interest in the songs I play the most (which is probably only about 10% of my playlist, but I tired of the rest a long time ago). I am still a little worn out - but I'm pushing despite, and I feel good about that. Mornings when I don't want to get up to work out, I roll over, turn off my alarm and tell myself all the reasons I do want to work out - and then get out of bed. I started out well trying to limit my carbs, but I feel a bit like that success has waned a little bit recently. So I need to keep pushing there. Even though I'm still working at eating better (every day) and working out (every day) I am not feeling that this weekend's weigh-in will be successful. Guess we'll see Sunday :)

as having been a boy, a man, a guy and a boy again ... your statement is probably true. But it is good you have let the frustrations go ... do it all for yourself ... your weigh in this weekend will be just fine. You are working too hard for it not to be ... if not this week, then the next ... it's a process. Keep it up ... girl power to you!

It's interesting - I have a friend who is trying to lose weight, and so far it's going slowly for her. It's so much easier to encourage her than it is myself. We people are funny beings.

Oh, what you said is SO true... I can encourage others much more easily than myself. Having said that... keep up the good work. You're still working out every day and making the attempt at eating better. Be strong! We're all pulling for you!
