Journal : -ended up really questioning my changes. Is my yoga and meditation changing me in a positive way?
I always run the risk of giving up when I guestion my habits. This is different in that I am willing to write it out. Confide in my FS friends and move forward. I commit to carry on with my positive actions even if I can’t always feel the effects these actions have on my life. I commit to carry on with these positive actions at least until I have some OTHER positive action to take the place of the Yoga and Meditation...

People on keto need sodium.

So glad I'm not required to limit, then! :-) I sure do better with more Na than that.

Love the loss tracker! :) Looks like much more fun when I see someone else's. The last line gave me a start for a sec (I'm very tired). 100k days of keto? As there are only 25,568 days in 70 years of life, makes me think of a some kind of "keto afterlife". Would that be a reward or punishment? :)

@Tbatgirl- Around a 1000 K a day is only leading to 2LBs a week? Age really does a number on Metabolism. But funny, I am always surprised at the low Kcals. @PbSulaK- Keto afterlife would have to be a reward!!! Tastes good...feels good...gives me new life! Yea- Only been on Keto...since June 4th, 2017. Hard to believe in those days of our lives being such a small # , when they pass so quickly? eh?@Smprowett- I agree we need more salt. Yet, I have a blood pressure problem that I hope weight loss will solve...but in the mean time...is still quite high...so...I am watching the salt ...if only to report to the Drs. From371- Thanks so much...your positive and, frankly, all the above support...really means alot to me.-J

Hi Judy, I too really had major blood pressure issues until I started taking chelated magnesium supplements (not oxide as it only absorbs about 2% and the rest gives the runs!) but 200-400 mg will help the BP and if you get migraines or muscle aches it helps that as well. Or long soaking baths in Epsom Salts will give you some of the same benefits since you'll absorb some of the magnesium through your skin. I don't know if this would help you, but many of the medicines people take strip magnesium out of our bodies and it's essential to pretty much every process we have. (The book the Magnesium Miracle, Dr. Carolyn Dean, it's a slog to read but she has a great many points about how systems in our body are impacted by this mineral.) Pumpkin seeds are also high in magnesium as well as chocolate. 😁
