I keep checking the news, also. Our friend's son didn't leave the Keys, I don't think. It's madness. Hope your plumbing issues are serious!

OH my on the Keys!! Hope he is OK. Not serious plumbing just he should have done the main drain from the inlet below the kitchen sink that the washing machine also drains into instead of just the floor inlet. I should have suggested it. It is going slow and backing up some. Have to watch the washer when draining and shut it off and back on. Have a niece riding it out in Boynton beach-- @ 40yo she still thinks hurricanes are time to party. Her kids are currently with their Dad somewhere. Wanted to get outside and work on the coop run, working on inside things. Last week's "intervention" with the ex DH is making me have a different priority for a week.

I'm checking the US National Weather Service updates on Twitter. That is one monster hurricane.

Doobrie, don't have twitter but have been watching the news coverage off an on even if they sensationalize it a lot.

Fire and water add the wind to both.

WFN ... last news was his son was in a concrete hurricane shelter still on the Keys from a friend of his. No power ... cell phones are dead, etc. Hopefully he is fine.

Glen, aren't you in an area with fires. I'm thinking you are in the NW.
