Thinking of all those in Irma's path. If you have remained hope you are stocked and have as safe of a shelter as you can and make it through the storm safely. If you have evacuated or are trying to hope for you a safe trip and that you will go home to homes with little damage. This storm is frightening. My Mom essentially lost her home to hurricanes in 2004 and many homes near her were flattened. I do understand the damage even a lesser strength one can do.

Thinking so many of our friends here will be affected as well as so many others. I have this overwhelming sense of sadness about the destruction that is coming. Here in the Midwest you feel that after a tornado hits anywhere nearby or near family or friends. They are sudden not something you plan on for a week or more, if you are lucky you have a few minutes. I've been through hurricanes CAT 1 and 2 and those were frightening enough
