I know that #7 doesn't work, but eating a carb rich meal will help kick your body off a stubborn plateau. I've been on 1300 cal for my RDI for over 2 years and average to that over the course of a week or month pretty consistently. But when I hit a stall I will throw some carbs in, and I ALWAYS eat high fiber! LOL 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'd also argue AGAINST cutting back on salt and electrolytes, especially if you are eating keto. Water weight will come and go, unless you add huge amounts to what you eat and cook, if you are eating non-processed food, a moderate amount of salt is healthy and in hot weather is good. And if you are doing keto it will actually help keep the weight going off! LOL🙋🏻

I kind of boil it down to "change something" whether it be your macros or your exercise:calorie intake ratio. I hadn't heard some if the tips above, so thank you for sharing. I just moved past a plateau by switching my diet and eliminating grains for the first time and increasing my exercise. What do you plan to switch up?

There it is in a nutshell from snakeyjane. It is more about changing your diet plan at key points, than anything else. Interesting reading although I would want to know which type of coffee is being tested. I would presume real as opposed to instant, as instant, be that powder or granules, is completely different. We know that the 5:2 diet works to some extent for short times, we also know there is body memory, in as much your body will adapt to any constant diet plan and create a plateau to maintain a constant.
