Yes, another X on the calendar for Aug 5th. August 6 is going well too. This morning I almost took an oatmeal raisin cookie, but talked myself out of it and saved 23 carbs. Breakfast and lunch were together today and now I am working toward an early dinner. I have some pork tips in the crockpot with a can of French onion soup for flavor. Instead of potatoes I am having a medium turnip. I am all enthused now thanks to my followers and buddies.

I really love turnips. My local grocery carries some nice size ones in the produce dept. No need to be hungry for a potato if you have some turnips in the fridge.

Yum, turnips! Which kind? (I might have names incorrectly assigned in my head, but I like both things I think of as turnips.)
