NOTHING KILLS A MORNING RIDE..goood monday morning..like being into a really good morning ride an then having a flat tire..about 3-4 miles outta town..yeap..i started my ride this morning doing 12 miles in town an then decided to go outta town..different route i been riding to add more miles on to my ride..was into a 18-19 mile ride an almost back into town when i heard what sound like riding over a rough surface..i kept on peddlin for a few but still felt like i was on a rough road..finally i get off bike an check back tire..flatter then a pancake..well just flat on the side i want to ride on..lol..so...i get off bike an proceed to get my morning walk in..one that i really enjoyed..since i havent been walking in quite some time cause i pulled something behind my knee..but today i was able to do that walk and legs not bothering me..

made a cassaroll in the oven yesterday..consisted of cauliflower, chicken, mixed veggies, cream of mushroom, an cheese on top..ended up being more like soup..put to much water in can of cream of mushroom trying to dilute it so wouldnt be so much salt..but all in all..tasted good ..something different..

I use to carry tube and air..but like a lot of things you get in routine...i haven't carried any of that in several months/years...but I always have my cell...lol..changed tube...hole was on top side next to valve step. .unfixable..as for fixing out on the road...im not patent anymore..if it don't go together first time...then several curse words later...im better...but item still needs fixed...i brought back tire in by recliner..broke it down..put new tube in...put it back together..and I'm ready for a better ride tomarrow

my brother carried 'fix a flat' when he went. He also carries some sort of blue stuff in the car that will fix a flat. I pumps and seals. It may not have worked for your type of flat, tho.

I'd love to cycle but I find it very painful - probably why there are more male riders than female! Shame about your flat, it does bring everything to a grinding halt doesn't it. Good luck with the tyre.
