This is exciting. Woot! 1.6 pound loss! It wasn't what I was expecting at all. I cracked and weighed in on Thursday, and it put me at 139 pounds, so I thought I hadn't lost much. But I forgot that the body's weight fluctuates throughout the week.(Or it could've been because I was using my mom's scale today - we both have the exact same type of scale. Hopefully that's not it.)

I've been pretty consistent lately with exercise and with eating. I'm actually very proud of myself right now. Very close now, about 1.7 pounds to healthy. It's so easy to get fixated on a number. If this week goes well, then I will definetely hit my goal by March 17th. Slowly, slowly. Even if I only lose .1 pounds this week, it's still .1 pounds closer. I know I can do it. I've broken through self-sabotage, bad cafeteria choices, that time of the month, learning to workout on my own, bad weather, and influence from friends. Sure I still need to work on busting through bad self-esteem, lazy days, and making good choices at parties, but I'm getting there.

In retrospect, it has been like a small flame that's constantly burning. It can be fanned or you could flick water on it, but it won't go out. I'm going to keep it burning. I started the fire, so I can't let it go out. Ever.

This week I am home for Spring Break! This is actually a very good thing, because when I come home, I gain control of the kitchen. My mom actually wants me to do the cooking, which means I can get any ingredients I need to cook anything I need. This usually means everyone in my family has to eat my healthy cooking, while I get to eat decent meals for a week :D

For exercise, I want to pull off doing all of my workouts for the week without going to the gym once. For food, I want to survive all of the events in a healthy way!
