Woke at 222.6, up 2.2 from yesterday. This is my sister's scale but there is no reason to doubt it. My plan for vacation is to continue 16:8 fasting daily and then do LCHF at night. We do have a family reunion coming up next weekend and the list of things folks are bringing are cringe worthy from a LCHF perspective. Will make the best choices available while still participating. UPDATE: Chilled out all morning and then went out for a lazy afternoon lunch at a wonderful Lebanese place. Yes, I had pita bread and two glasses of red wine. Then we brought some ice cream home for our hosts and ourselves (and it was not Halo Top). Had just a bit but of course, exceeded macros in carbs. Ended the day at 219.8, so starting to detox a bit. Took a Lasix pill since I was safely at my sister's house. Off to Chicago tomorrow morning!

Hi Draglist🙋🏻make sure you bring a selection or two to that reunion that you can eat! And take a knife with you down the buffet line to cut the servings into MUCH smaller pieces!🤷🏻‍♀️ Too many times at potlucks and such people cut "normal" sized portions, which are huge anyway! And them some well meaning person will want to know if you tried their contribution! Argh! 🙇🏻‍♀️The knife trick is my way of only taking a taste. I have bad food allergies and sensitivities but actually love potlucks if there are ingredient cards so I can steer around things that will make me sick. 🤦🏻‍♀️It lets me enjoy other people's cooking and the love that went into it, even if I only have a small bite. 🙋🏻Have a great time! 💁🏻
