Feeling better but still having pain. Pushed through though and did 1 hr of yoga and 50 minutes of cardio. Exercise always helps my aches and pains, it's just hard to get started when things hurt.

Going back to chiropractor today for another adjustment. Should be feeling great just in time to go back to work on Sunday...(note the sarcasm).

Still keeping on track with my eating plan. Measurement time on Sunday and I will weigh myself then, too. Skipped a couple of weigh-ins on purpose (feeling a little puffy and swollen).

If I'm still at a plateau, I'm going to either do a strict fat fast for 3 days to kick up my metabolism or continue to add a little more protein but cut the fat and sodium a little bit and add more greens. We'll see. Maybe my body self-corrected and I won't have to do anything. Still feeling great (other than the horrible back pain). Energy is still up, allergies and stomach issues still at bay.

Sorry to hear that you're still in pain, but I'm glad that other things are going ok. :) I am a wimp when I'm sick, so I can't imagine working out with pain like this- you're an inspiration. Also, what is a fat fast?

Now I feel bad for skipping my workout today and taking a nap after PT... lol. Doesn't matter if the physical therapist told me to or not (she knows about my journey and is supportive), I still am inspired by your determination. Keep up the good work, I hope your body has agreed to stop being stubborn and cooperate and that you'll be feeling better and soaring off that plateau. :)

Thank you both for your kind words. Sonja, A fat fast is a 3-5 day high fat low protein "diet". It is used to reset or jump start a sluggish metabolism. Many Atkins followers use this method if they reach a plateau (usually over a week of no scale budge) when they want to start ketosis again. It forces your body to rapidly start using its own fat for fuel. Again, last resort. NativeLady, keep getting stronger! Our journeys are made of little steps, not giant leaps.
