qkinne1's Journal, 19 January 2012

Hoping for good results tomorrow! I weigh myself every morning and I am thinking tomorrow should be good. Had a rough night at work tonight and still managed to hit the gym for almost an hour after work. After having a really good week last week, then putting 4 lbs back on over the weekend, all this running and circuit training that I have done this week should pay off. I am not planning on going into a reverse slide this weekend. Have ran 6.5 miles so far this week. Thought I would never be able to do that. Don't know if I would call it running, more like fast walking, little jogging, and some running. But just saying I ran 6.5 miles sounds better. My Journal I can call it what I want. With all of this typing I can tell I am still a little wound up from tonight's workout.

I'm with ya...we're amoung friends, it's running 6.5miles :D. I don't have the endurance for running and haven't jogged since I was 16...not sure my knees could handle it these days...I stumbled with my diet on Sat & Sun as well...but I started my exercising just before the weekend, so it must have been just enough to counteract the oops...anyway, mistakes are in the past...just keep going and try to make better choices next time, it's all we can do...Later.

Didn't think I would be able to hit the treadmill this much at my weight. I have had some knee problems in the past. So far everything has felt good so far, so I keep pushing it a little bit. I have never enjoyed running and have never ran since like 6-8th grade and hated it then. But right now I am actually smiling while my heart rate is running 160 and my times are coming from 22 minute/ miles down to 13. I am enjoying seeing results and just keep thinking about how much fun I am going to have with my 5 year old daughter this summer.

Great job on the running. I also thought I would never enjoy running; now I can't wait to get out and pound some pavement.
