New year, new chance, new opportunity to show what I can do.

I vowed, when I first started here, that I would *never* go back to that weight again. So far, I have met that (minimal) goal, but I have come uncomfortably close to that starting weight, and I know that things will only get worse as I grow older.

When I achieved (and exceeded a little!) my original goal weight, I was so proud of my accomplishment, so delighted (finally!) to shop for clothes, or to have my picture taken. I need to remember how excellent that feeling was, and choose to reach for that instead of a second helping.

I *can* do this--I did it before--and I hope I will. Good luck to me, and to all my fellow travelers who read this!
