Stress is so bad for me. A 12-1/2 hour day yesterday led to ordering pizza because I was too exhausted to face cooking once I got home. I ate and then went to bed just so that I could get up today and do it AGAIN. I hate my life sometimes. I am a bundle of raw nerves and ready to bawl at the drop of a hat - not good for me in my male-dominated workplace.
Saying the serenity prayer over and over in my mind today. I am also borrowing from the tweleve steps and just trying to make it one hour at a time.
I need a new job.

I used to work with long retail hours and still got up early to deliver newspapers. I think my body just about gave out after 3 years of that. I can relate to grabbing comfort food when it's easy. Maybe you can find a new job this year. Hugs!

Hang in there RiverRes... You'd be surprised how changing your job, even though you might take a cut, would help. Maybe better hours. Don't fear a change.
