MightyFull's Journal, 04 January 2017

Yesterday I was over my calories. Did fine until after supper -- just wanted something sweet. Tried to use discretion in what I choose, but most of it was related to the candy family. I finally took myself to bed. I was exhausted and just trying to stay up any later than 9pm was just out of the question. (The night prior due to severe weather potential, I got about 5 hours.) At least I did not snack after 8pm. :) Silver lining!

Today I did the unthinkable -- I hit snooze. Tsk! Tsk! Got up an hour later than planned, and got my workout in. So yeah!

Supple Body Yoga (Skimble) was awesome after The Survivor (Skimble) yesterday! Today had trouble getting my left leg during the quad stretch. I usually can get the right, but not the left. So weird!!!

How was the quiche?

@Arabella66 - the quiche was really good. Thanks for the idea to cook collards down a bit before putting with quiche. Unfortunately, not a low fat option with the whole milk blue cheese and Cabot Greek Yogurt (plain), but awesome in flavor. Initially a shock - like trying feta or goat cheese for the first time, but a good flavor combo overall.

There is NO way to do a GOOD quiche LOW fat in my opinion. You won't get the same texture with the low fat products. I usually cook my greens down before adding because I want most of the water out of them before adding them into the mixture. Watery quiche......NO thanks.
