I quit Weight Watchers. I believe I really need these meetings, but that extra $45 hurts a bit... Especially with the 20 mile drive to get to the meeting. It was either a gym membership or WW, so I chose the gym.... I'm gonna try other resources, however, I'm counting on my own and being held accountable by my new doctor. Still working on my next goal to be under 250. Now that the holidays are over I can start grinding harder again. I got the taste of chocolate and candy back, like a crackhead who quit and took a hit. So, have to ween myself off of these again. Thankfully, I didn't GAIN anything during the holiday season, but I did slow down a bit. Still on track though... Steady as she goes...

having tried WW , I can say the gym is def way much more beneficial and a better investment. Good choice. I suggest quitting cold turkey on the chocolate.. having done the exact same thing myself (darn those little dove chocolates). One thing that has really helped me be accountable is posting here, even if its 2x a day. You can do this..! We are here for support !

Thanks, Ladies. Yeah... Cold turkey will be the way to go, until I'm back in control again. I didn't count all the stuff I had.. I had so much... no clue HOW I stayed in a deficit to lose.. I guess cause I'm so much more active now.. LOL

Yeah..candy is a strong draw..especially at Holiday times as one always seems to feel as if that time is special..special meaning..I will only eat this candy at this time.

TOPS is another weight loss group that is supportive and inexpensive.

This Selby chick appears to just be some spammer promoting that company. There's one thing when weight loss groups are recommended... and another thing when they seem fake, forced, scripted.. such as in Selby's case...

We are ALL here for you pickles, as Red said. You can do whatever you set your mind to. I agree with cold turkey on those chocolates too, weening didn't work for me-and I also recently relapsed on the sugar after about a month of nothing processed (yay). All in all, you are doing AMAZING, so keep at that grind!
