Maheva's Journal, 01 January 2012

Good morning Journal! Slow start this morning, went to bed awfully late. Will need a nap sometime during the day. Longing for a sauna / hammam session, but ain't gonna happen today. Arrrrgggh.

Had a really nice New Year's Eve, 10 of us at my best friend's place, we had planned a long evening of games in between the dishes. The games were a blast!! We wrapped up dessert around 3am (jeezz), and kept playing another good 3 hrs. It's noon now here, I've been up already 3hrs, house work and cooking. Exhausted already. Can't go for a run, I feel trashed.

Then after lunch, a whole afternoon of more physical work: moving in new flat in a few weeks, and the wallpapers need to be scrapped, walls polished, and the wooden floorboards sanded. That will take me a few evenings and weekends to get all done. My two teenage nephews are here for the holidays; they don't know yet how we're going to spend the rest of the day, he he.

Anyway, not too tempted to get on the scales today - why get depressed on the 1st day of the year, he? :-) LOL! I know by tomorrow or Tuesday I'll have burned off most of the excesses, so. I'll still do my 100abs reps tonight, that's on the programme! And plenty of water today.
