I nice lazy day yesterday, resting up from the tough week.
The ex came over to play backgammon, so I made up a charcuterie platter to nosh on while we played. I put out some Club crackers, but we only each ate one. He's learning from me! He brought over a bag of smoked pork butt to add to the platter, so there was that, hard salami, prosciutto, Danish Havarti, muenster and cheddar cheeses, plus olives and pickled okra. The label on the okra said it was hot, but I was surprised it was also sweet! Very strange. I only had one bite, because of the sugar...but the combo really works.
It was a very pleasant evening.
Tuesday is going to be another one of those slammed days, but them I'm off until Friday, except for a consultation with a new client on Wednesday.
Another tidbit you haven't learned from me yet is that I have a Master's in naturopathic medicine, and am a medical intuitive. The new client I'm seeing Wednesday is the daughter of a friend, who has asked me to give readings to several friends and family members. It should be interesting. :)
I still don't know what I'm doing for Thanksgiving. I'll decide soon.
I sent the lady who accused me of stealing a copy of her receipt, which clearly shows her signature. I hope it puts that matter to rest.
Hoping you all have a great day, my buddies!

Sounds like an interesting week! I've never had pickled okra but I love pickles. Such a shame okra won't grow here easily otherwise it would be something I'd be trying next summer

You are just too complex for words. You are such an interesting buddy.

Thank you all for the kind words. I love learning new things, and studying is my favorite pastime. It keeps the mind sharp, but the body does tend to suffer for it. I've tried books on tape, but I'm so much more a visual/manual learner, than an auditory one. Stuff I hear just doesn't stick!
