I POSTED this today: My secret to being always on or very near my ideal weight is:
(or don't listen to me, It seems that No one else does :) )
: IMHO, Supper is the smallest meal of the day, Break-fast is the largest, Dinner (mid day traditionally) is a good sized healthy meal. and getting 90% of daily calories before 2pm. Doing this I HAVE NO CRAVINGS. :) NONE. so, a large tempting meal has no effect.
It's discouraging! Seeing 90% of my friends, customers, and people shopping at stores, most suffering, buying food that has created their 'eating problems"
It's so EASY, no struggle, no fighting to resist the decadent "fill in the blank" dinner, snack...
We need fuel ALL during the day, and starting out when we wake up we are OUT OF FUEL. and not particularly hungry, so we cheat AND SKIP breakfast! We are cheating ourselves. Since this produces huge CRAVINGS later on. followed with: struggle, fighting to resist... AND A WEIGHT GAIN ANYWAY!
WE ARE NOT ALL WEAK MINDED, but we ARE living in a world where we are usually overworked, no time to fix a good breakfast or Lunch, but presented with millions of fast foods, decadent foods, tempting foods, bombarded with advertising subtly affecting our choices, being manipulated constantly in these subtle and overt ways.
We are especially vulnerable to this if WE SKIP BREAKFAST.
Why do most of us NOT get this simple truth????
Yes, it's discouraging. :(

Preach! I never skip breakfast....and you are so right...no cravings no temptations.

WELL, I guess I was wrong. Some people DO listen to others opinions, and think about it, or already do it. :)
