some med for the cough and a humidifier but I don't have one. and if it doesn't get any better tonight to go to the ER

you need to keep the humidity up in the room. If it get to bad let them sit in warm water... relaxes and helps breathing. Be inventive, find way to evaporate water, that's all it needs. Just be careful that the kids can't get to the hot water.

Sorry about your children - hope they feel better ASAP. Good reminder for myself that is way past time to get my humidifier set up - I just have an old fashioned cheap one - paid about $15.00 for it. Works wonders.

I need to invest in 2 of them for each kids room. the meds helped some and i got a few hours of sleep after we found a twisted way to all sleep on my 4 yr olds bed. even my boyfriend stayed with us :)
