This weekend I was a fitness maniac. I ran 15 miles with a stop at 7.5 and then I went to a dance explosion where I did soca, zumba, hula, and African dances. Afterwards, I ran a 5k at night. I completed my day with over 55,000 steps. The most steps for one day since I had my fitbit. I was tired but it was fun. At the end of the month I will run a 20 miler and I am excited but a little afraid. My friend is running a marathon so I am training with her. Due to the increasing cost of the 5k races I am finding that it more economically for me to sign up for half marathons. At least I am getting the most bang for my buck. Many 5k races are $45 or $50 which I think is starting to be a little too much. The long runs are woth while because even on my own I rarely if ever run 13 miles and when signing up for these races you are kinda forced to do so.
