As of this morning I've gained 1.8 lbs since yesterday. I'm guessing that is mostly fluid from having eaten a ton of sodium for dinner and forgetting to take my meds (fluid pill) yesterday. Did 25 minutes on the elliptical despite feeling bloated and crappy. The 15 minute mark seems to be the hardest to make it through. I am looking forward to it getting easier over time.

I'm extremely tired at work today. It shouldn't be from lack of sleep since I got ~9 hours. Also, I planned food for the day really poorly this morning. Had a banana before leaving the house and an apple and almond butter for breakfast, not nearly enough protein to make it to lunch.

I was so bloated I did not want salty leftovers, so I packed the remaining cup of left over fajita chicken, bell pepper and onion from earlier in the week to go with a huge container of bagged lettuce as a salad as lunch. I was starving by lunch time and had greatly underestimated the amount of meat in the cup of onions/bell pepper. Next time I need to remember a lunch buddy's suggestion to have used salsa instead of dressing and make it into a taco salad without a shell. For that I could have added some canned beans for additional protein and would have been much more satisfied at lunch. So I ate just the meat mixture at lunch hoping to spread out eating the salad through the afternoon to keep the hunger from killing me. Also have yogurt and red grapes stashed as an afternoon snack so I can make it home to cook some dinner.
