10 7 2 3

Okay. There's a surprise. It reminds me of the kind of swing Bill/Draglist sometimes gets. Put new batteries in the scale and it's still that weight.

This is the bottom of the carb/glucogen depletion phase. I'm not expecting to stay at this weight, though my weight shouldn't be falling when over the last two weeks my average daily calories has been 2800 to 2900 calories. I'll give this another couple of weeks to see what happens.

I'm okay with fat loss still at this point. Calipers don't seem to agree, but everything wavers. I am seeing and feeling a difference in ab definition. I may get that 6 pack yet.

Nice evening berry picking last night. Tika came back to me at one point and quickly jumped up on a log beside me looking away from me. She was alert and focused. She let out two barks (she sounds really aggressive, but she's a softy) and I stood and called out, asking her what it was. Something went crashing off into the bush. Could have been a moose, but being where I was, it was more likely a bear. Ah, summer.

8.2 lbs. is an extreme weight change in one week. You must feel light as a feather.
