I found a Naturopathic doctor from paleodocs.com.
I have come to the point now 3 1/2 years that I can't seem to figure out why my joints ache badly and why I have rashes on the back of my arms. I have some issues that I thought I could just fix myself. I feel like I have been running in circles for a long time. My last resort was always going to the doctor.. But I figured this couldn't hurt.
We have a skype call meeting where I told her my history- my current issues and how I feel etc etc. The call lasted 1h 30min long and at the end I felt very confident she had an idea with how to help me.
She gave me a plan to follow for a month- no eggs or red meat the first week. Then the 2nd week I can add red meat and eggs only twice a week to see how I feel.
Also I am going to try to get blood work done to check my thyroid and hormones and vitamin D levels. Worse comes to worse I may get a food allergy test. But for now lets see how the first month goes.
She is having me replace one lift day with lower weight lifting or low intensity cardio (cycling etc) and add in a yoga session or two to help with my stress levels. I am hoping working with her can help me figure out why I am getting skin reactions and joint issues. Also hoping this can help me understand why my body is working against me.
Anywho- I am not counting calories. I am following this eating plan of whole foods like meat/veggies/fruit and following her guidelines to see how I do. I forgot to weigh myself this morning so I will weigh in tomorrow.
wish me luck :)

Fantastic - functional medicine is a hopeful place. I have joint aches when I eat wheat...

@HCB I think it has to do with the wheat too. I told her I would not be eating wheat during this month to see how i feel

I have fibromyalgia which causes a lot of aches and it is definitely affected by wheat. Hoping you find answers!

I read "I found a neurotic doctor." Eggs are iffy for a lot of people. Keep an open mind. You'll figure it out. Meat is unlikely. I'd rather die than give up critters.

thanks guys! I agree I dont think its the meat. I think she wants me top learn to eat more veggies and greens which I have an issue doing. My life would be a sad place without eggs
