Oh my god that was a phenomenal dinner.
I went to Coi, which is arguably the best restaurant in San Francisco. It's the only two-star Michelin restaurant in the city, and there are no three-stars-- you have to go to Napa for those.
The 11-course tasting menu was absolutely fabulous. But really... how do you record that in your diet calendar? Somehow, "popcorn grits" just isn't in the food list. Neither is "beef (lichen crusted, new zealand spinach, porcini, native spices)".
And the wine pairings. Oh god, the wine pairings.

11-course menu? Daaaaamn :) I would register it as "Went nuts" - 2000 calories. lol. Sounds like a lot of fun. I gotta go do something like that.

Went nuts, spent a thousand bucks on dinner for three. At that price point, I think they remove all of the calories before the food gets to you.

Acutally, an 11-course tasting menu isn't the same as an 11-course dinner. You typically get just a few bites of most items.
