So as odd as this sounds for someone who eats virtually no processed foods -- I have a new fixation: P3 packs from Kraft-Oscar Meyer. These 180-200 calorie snacks have chunks of cheese and ham or turkey, plus a portion of nuts. Very low carb, very low sugar. It is such a relief to have found a snack that I can buy at a convenience store and eat when others are grabbing donuts or cookies -- and be satisfied and not blow my calorie count for the day OR consume too many carbs OR eat something that gives me an IBS attack. I'm thrilled. Plus these saved me money on my trip to Iowa and back. I brought washed berries with me, and then I bought P3 packs, and I had lunch for probably a grand total of $2.50. There are so many situations when you're doing consulting where you end up in situations where you can't get anything "legal" to eat -- but there's a 7-11 nearby. Finally! - something I can buy at a 7-11 to save me from myself!
