Ok, official restart happening today! It was supposed to be yesterday, but the protein bars did me in. I know to avoid those protein bars because one is never enough and I end up eating more especially if they taste so good like Luna Bar Chocolate Peanut Butter. I'd probably only eat one if they tasted like medical food like Luna Bar chocolate chip cookie dough does... Hehe. Today I must walk more, stick to no carbs, eat more leafy greens and a low carb green juice. I have fresh chicken stocked up, going to visit my mom... She now knows to not offer me carbs! We communicate and she's on board with my lifestyle change. The high of losing 7 lbs last week wore off after I gained it back over last week. Success is at the tips of my fingers... Just got to keep my fingers busy so they don't reach for snacks!!

Those darn protein bars ... unfortunately they're currently a go-to for me because I get so tied up doing stuff at the wrong time of the day and I don't take the time to take the time to make healthier stuff because I'm so craptacular at planning stuff. Yeah that made total sense. Argh! Happy Saturday, lovey!

I think having the box there is too much eyecandy for my carb sensitive eyes! Do they make visine for that? At this point of my diet (newbie) it's too much temptation seeing chocolate (even if it's a protein bar) and chewy at eye level in my garage. I have to hide em, give them away... Something quick! It offsets my brain and I end up going for more snacks.

These have 19 carbs and 12g of protein! My goodness they are more carb heavy than protein heavy, I think it's a good idea to switch brands!! Thanks for pointing that out!

Hi Smarty, Make life easier by shoving those bars WAY away out of sight, in a really inconvenient location. By not seeing them, they will not tempt you, and a little inconvenience goes a long way. If you have to give them to one of your girl friends - do it. You can always jump in your car and buy more if you really have a craving (NOT!) see how inconvenient it is :)

Hahaha, yes out of sight, out of mind. Hiding them now! Also, must stop by Target and get Quest bars. That's the protein/carb ratio I was looking for! Thanks everyone!

I used to keep a big bottle of sparkling water in the fridge. Just for me. If I stuck my head in, while on the mooch, I would take a swig and promptly come back out again.

I can highly recommend the Myprotein My Bar Zero ! are amazing. there are only about 3g of carbs in one bar (65g)( plus 20g proteins and 7g fats. they come in lots of flavours.

Sparkling water fanatic here, too. Tangerine and ... something else vaguely fruity. I also have a bottle of water with a little bit of ACV added. I can't remember why.
