This is getting to be a habit! Blue sky, clouds burning off, and another frost. Birds chirrupping away as if it were Spring - feels like winter at last :)
I'm running a fleece sorting workshop today so though old clothes would be good. Greasy sheep's wool and nice clothes don't mix well. Ooh, what's this at the back of the drawer? - I remember these jeans, they'll do, they are probably a bit big now...
Ah those jeans. The first clothes I bought new in a daring smaller size which I wasn't quite ready for - you know the score. I remember well the feeling of squeezing in to them and feeling really slinky, appreciating that bit of lycra for added stretch. And topped off with one of my favourite T shirts over my top, Cool. I got dressed.
Well!! The shirt swamps me and the jeans....? I had to hold them up while I went looking for my belt. Both forearms slip easily down inside either side by my hips. Whatever was I thinking when these made me feel slim! It's all relative I suppose. They had their place, I wore them well, they helped on my journey and now they are a fond memory after today.
Scale numbers haven't changed today, but I know I have.
