Focus on portion sizes, most places have some type of healthy choice. Just do your best.

Thanks Donna. Problem is I'm going to be at my father's. He's happy I put on some weight and doesn't really want me to go back to being as thin as I was a year ago ... and I hate fighting with him.
The orange bar was a surprise for me. I'm sure you'll get that (awesome) surprise sooner than you expect.

Great job!! I've tried to explain to my mom that I'm trying to eat healthier, but she always wants me to go back for seconds or have bigger helpings. I've found that if we just are talking and I don't talk about food or change the subject when it comes up, she doesn't seem to notice as much, or get on me about it as much. Good luck!! I'm sure you'll do fine. Remember to have a good time!!

Your mom is just like my dad, mars2kids. He makes meals for 4 or 5 people when there are only 3 eating ... then complains about leftovers! I like the idea of keeping him "distracted" lol, thanks.
