Stopped smoking about a year ago (on July 2010, 3rd at 11:30 am). Since then, with no big changes otherwise, I've gained 22 pounds.

I now want that fat off of me ... and found this site to help.

I'm very new to watching what I eat, to working out, to the gym. Any advice / tips / stories and encouragement is appreciated!

My fitness plan: eat less, eat better, drink more water, exercise, stay calm, have fun. If it took a year for the fat to settle, it can take a year for me to push it out :)

**** Goals ****
weight: 85Kg (2011-08-23) STARTING WEIGHT
weight: 81Kg
weight: 78Kg
weight: 76Kg
weight: 75Kg

fitness goal: run, about 1 mile or 1.5km, to the gym (I really have no idea about a timeframe; I think I can run across the street, but I'd try to avoid even that)

Need Atkins buddies
Chelsey: on the right, in your FatSecret links, the last link is "go to my fatsecret". Click it, then, in Your Toolbox, click "my signature". Then check the checkbox in option a) "include a ticker on my fatsecret.com forum posts".

The links in this message, hopefully, are the same as on FS pages

bread goes bad
I make my own bread with a bread-machine. I let it rest for a day before cutting into slices and putting in the freezer. When I go to bed I take a slice out and next morning it's perfect for breakfast. If I need a slice right away, the toaster works well (though I prefer untoasted bread).

How do I add a picture to my journal entry?
Copy the address of the image and paste that between the words added when you click the "image" button. You'll end up with something like below (I've added space to prevent FatSecret from showing the image)

[ img ]http://cache.hyves-static.net/images/smilies/default/smiley_fitness.gif[ /img ] for

Remember it's the address of the image itself, not of the page where it's on (probably ends with .jpg or .gif)
