Daughter wanted to celebrate tonight. Her pick was Olive Garden... NOT a low carb friendly place to eat! But this was her day so I did the best I could by not eating breadsticks (love them!) or pasta (love that more than the bread!) or the pumpkin cheesecake with gingerbread crumbles (sigh love that most of all). Went over but think I will be alright. So I am going to try my own pumpkin cheesecake this weekend.. the low carb kind :D We had very fall like weather today, the high was 63 :)...and that sounds so good! I love autumn foods with all the pumpkin and spices. Time to start looking up some low carb autumn recipes. Salads dont make the cut for me in cooler weather.

I had the Seafood Brodetto the last time I went (35 carbs per serving) it was delicious, only ate about half. It comes with two slices of toasted Italian bread. I wondered if the 35 carbs include the bread or not. I didn't eat the bread. I love Dunkin Donuts pumpkin muffins~ they are not worth the carbs though. Last week I had a cup of chopped apples ( a fall favorite for me) with 3/4 cup cottage cheese sprinkled with cinnamon one day for lunch. It was soooo good, like eating dessert! I did still manage to lose a pound though.

I have just started eating cottage cheese again. The apple and cinnamon on top sounds wonderful. Im going to try this. Thanks for the idea!
