Good morning everyone! I'm tuckered out on this Wednesday. My daughter had a follow up dr. apt this morning, just got back from dropping her off at school. I hate it when I have to drop her off, just when I start to enjoy her company *poof* she's gone, and I'm alone again.

I'm feeling kind of indifferent today and I'm not sure why. Eating right has been more of a struggle this week, although I have fully stuck within my calorie range. Carbs have been a little high though. My stomach hurt yesterday, now my throat is a little sore. Perhaps that has something to do with it. I have clinical this weekend so whatever it is, I have to get rid of it fast.

Looks like I'm going to be giving up my fitbit for good, and this makes me sad. I loved the challenges, being able to monitor my calorie burns from workouts and my steps. Now I have nothing. After multiple conversations with fitbit support they have concluded that all they can do is offer me a full refund, as they cannot guarantee that if they replaced the product the rash wouldn't recur. I understand, and it makes sense but I'm still super bummed. Now I feel like I'm going through the motions with eating and exercise although I'm sure my results on the scale will still be good. I no longer have the ability to look at my numbers at the end of the day and think "damn, I killed it today".

Well that's enough self pity for one journal entry. I have to head to the hospital to get my clinical assignment for this weekend. School is still going really well, I'm just getting a little burnt out. 132 days until graduation :)

Do you think you could put the fitbit in your pocket or hook it in some way on a belt loop? A little experiment.

you could use a friendship bracelet underneath, you know the knotted type made from cotton. I used to wear one under my watch as I have a nickel allergy. :)

Don't get discouraged my friend. There are still options for tracking your activities. I strap my fitbit onto my shoe laces - still tracks your steps. I know it's always nice to be able to check how you are doing throughout the day. Cheers and hope your day brightens up for you!

I wonder if you really washed the band good, maybe used some disinfectant or bleach, then let it dry well...if that would help?

132 days until graduation? Wow - that is only like four months - like first day of June! Like YOU are AWESOME and will be wonderful at nursing!
