This one made me laugh as I was inwardly grumbly about a small drop and reminding myself of all the pieces that go into a drop - and even then, your body will do what it will do when it wants to do it, just like a toddler.

Since this time of year is a refocus/recommitment for many people, I thought it might be helpful to share the quote. We can get so wrapped up in our heads with the idea of being there NOW that we don't realize what we learn in those times where we are still traveling. There are lessons to be learned and encouragement that YOU need to give - for someone else, but, more, for YOU. When you encourage someone else, you identify with them, make a connection, pull out truths from your own reality and share them with another in the hopes of offering comfort. It reinforces who YOU are and your body will remember those words in moments when YOU need it. It's like having your Mom's voice in your head...

Don't focus only on the weight. Find the lessons. Opportunities to learn to be patient or kind or strong. Opportunities to learn where your weak spots and triggers are. You would pay someone if they would just hand that to you. We value that which we struggle for and you'll never forget it once you "get" it.

Bitty drops add up. I've probably got about 30 pounds' worth of Lil' drops recorded over the past year. Keep pushing!
