LISfifty's Journal, 29 November 2015

So I was really inspired by your posts and made myself get my walk in tho is was raining, all to return home and be totally unravelled by relatives here for the holiday. I was so angry that I purchased chocolate covered cherries and jelly beans while out- and ate it all. (Less than a handful). Well that will show them won't it? Then I came home and escaped to my home office and used the energy to attack a major project that I had been putting off. I feel a whole lot better now, and bid them a pleasant good nite- and the saying about company after 3 days is too true. I will have to make a note to myself on next year's calendar to remind me when the folks begin inviting themselves. Don't get me wrong - I have much love for them. Soooo- I have work to do to refocus after the holidays and get back on track. One outcome is that I accomplished so much on my distasteful project. That feels good. And I do not feel badly about the candy. It needed me. 😝I will cancel on my volunteer appointment in the morning- I need the time. Hope your all had a great day!

Thanks guys! Thanksgiving was rough on me, but I have just recovered, and have more house guests coming in tomorrow. This will be a much better experience, and I am not going to play super hostess and wear myself out. I have managed to stay on track pretty well, but I must get back to tracking every meal. That is key for me. I hope all of you have a super weekend!
