Good day to everyone! My cousin is a Beachbody coach and offered to give 50% of her commission toward those who suffered damage due to the SC Flood in early October. So, it was for a good cause and I can support that. Got the 21 day fix cookbook and coordinating containers for portion control. Hubby and I sat down Sunday night and selected recipes to try and planned for the week. Only problem? We don't have the majority of the ingredients to what we selected. LOL. We're working on a grocery visit this week. So hopefully that will come to fruition. From what I can tell - you do not starve and it's mostly a combination of paleo, gluten free, and vegan.

So what happened yesterday? Well, I didn't do the snacks between breakfast and lunch (wasn't hungry -- and was busy) and the snacks got chunked after evening workout, which though not the worst thing, once I uncovered myself from unplanned snacks, I realized I had overeaten my calories. So, trying it again today. Started at breakfast with a larger apple -- Healthy French Toast -- than yesterday. It's one piece of bread -- that's a serving. How uncommon is this in the outside world? Plenty, right? At a restaurant, this would be considered maybe a child's portion. Maybe...but it is filling. I did add a Nature Valley granola bar -- I know, more carbs for breakfast than needed, but I'm trying to keep breakfast as the largest meal of the day and reduce calorie intake at each meal (when possible).

We tried three meals from Hello Fresh -- hubby likes me cooking at home. I really just don't cook alot -- unless we are on vacation, where I like to cook. Just weird.
With eating healthier, comes actual cooking for ourselves. It's getting better.

Will get in running this evening (1 mile). Have had more stuff on my mind again...working hard to not fall into the same abyss as in the past when the same stuff hit.

Off to work - have a great day!

I absolutely love the 21 day fix workouts. They are great, not too hard, but not too easy.
